Eating has become as much a hobby as it is a necessity of life.
Good food has always been a product of community and culture. Until recently that was just normal. Italians have always eaten amazingly tasty pasta dishes. French families have always indulged in bread, butter, and wine. It wasn’t until recently that eating became a badge of honor to be posted on any and all social media channels or a type of travel that didn’t require a passport.
Eating isn’t just about shoveling the food into your mouth. It is also about the conversation and community created around a meal. Think back to some of your favorite memories. Is there food? What kind? Who are you sharing it with? Who do you wish you were sharing it with? That connection and community are as important to our health and our ability to feel feed as eating itself is.
The eating posts on the site will not only give you recipes, (many of which will be lacking gratuitous food porn photos) but also stories and tips to help you create your own stories with your family and friends. I will admit that my cooking skills strongly outweigh my photography skills so bear with me as I learn and improve. You can be sure that if I take the time to photograph and post a recipe it is tasty and something I make frequently.
Want to create a family dinner tradition that your kids will be inspired to continue this is the section of the blog for you.
If you are new start here
Recipes – these are mostly older posts, but many are recipes I still make on a regular basis. I am working on some new ideas and trying to update photos for some of the older posts
