Suzanne Krowiak of Indy Food Swap

This episode is an interview with Suzanne Krowiak about how she started the Indy Food Swap.

If you haven’t been to a food swap and enjoy cooking, baking, preserving, gardening or foraging it is an event that might be right up your alley.

Suzanne is also a master food preserver and at the end of the episode, we talk about her affinity for making pickles and her love of ground cherries. Hayley McGinley of Native Bread

November 3, 2016 by anne

Hayley is a very impressive lady and her company Native Bread is certainly headed for a long life as a great business in Indianapolis. She started Native Bread so to fill the void of artisan gluten-free bread and she has quickly gained a reputation for a great product.

You will hear just how little I knew about this process at the beginning of this interview. Not entirely sure why I thought that yeast wasn’t involved in gluten-free bread, but I know better now. If you are gluten-free or know someone who is, you should check out her bread.

If you are interested in getting her bread for Thanksgiving you should follow her on social media. Since it freezes well you could also find it at the Indy Winter Farmers Market on Nov. 12th.
